Today is International Podcast Day (Can I hear what does that have to do with me? Everything!), it is dedicated to promoting podcasting worldwide through educational and public engagement. Podcast is about igniting and continuity of conversation which is what I am all about. It’s the new medium for broadcasting. I am not a podcaster yet, maybe someday, but Blurbrry is giving a 30day trial which I just might take advantage of.
According to internationalpodcastday.com, here are a few things we can do to help the International Podcast Day;
Get the conversation going…
Join in with numerous events going on.
Promote by posting the IPD (International Podcast Day) banner image on your website.
Use hashtag #podcastday to engage with others worldwide talking about the IPD event.
Change your social media image with the IPD logo.
Explain to someone what a podcast is and get them hooked.
Share your favourite podcast with someone. (The Harry Minute- you should check it out).
Send feedback to your favourite podcasters and tell them thank you.
Provide a rating and review of the podcast in iTunes or any other platform.
Subscribe to a new show and talk about using it #podcastday.
